The computer lab because of its layout does not generally
cater to collaboration and it may pose limited access in the sense that it does
not cater to learning anywhere, any time.
However, most times each student who uses the lab at a particular time gets
access to a machine and since most schools are cash-strapped this is the way
that they take instead of investing in many computers for the classrooms. To manage the lab well the teacher needs to
ensure that clear instructions are given and students should behave in a
respectful and responsible manner.
