What
I felt after
the meeting. Was I an effective presenter/motivator?
I considered myself an effective
facilitator since I encouraged the participants to discuss in small groups,
whole group and to make and share reflection.
Most importantly all participants share in creating the vision thus giving
them a sense of control over the change activity and making it easier for
them to buy into the vision. Teachers
were influenced to form support teams to work together in integrating ICT
into teaching and learning and to share their technical and pedagogical
methods.
My
reflections on
the journey ahead. Now that I have involved others in creating the vision for
ICT integration, as a leader I must foster smart partnership with the community
and the corporate sector in an effort to gain ICT expertise and raise funds
to acquire ICT resources in order to increase accessibility and equity of ICT
among the students. I will also plan
training sessions for teachers to learn new knowledge and gain new skills and
competencies and I will exchange information with schools who have
successfully and effectively integrated ICT so that we can synergistically
share knowledge and ideas in
integrating ICT in schools

How I feel about
the course so far: Even though there has been a degree of pressure I consider
the course to be favourably challenging since I experienced growth in the
process.
